It works really well for them, and is also great in the USA - for camping, car trips, and reading anywhere. In just 6 hours of sun, the 1 watt solar panel fully recharges the battery that provides 30 hours of light on dim, 6 hours on bright, or 3.5 hours on the highest setting.
