Vegetable Oil Fuel Switching Valve (6 port) |
A simple, low cost, reliable fuel selector valve for SVO/diesel selection. 60 PSI max. inlet pressure. Only draws power momentarily while switching from one position (fuel) to the other.
Small amounts of fuel are sent to opposite tank at each switching. Amount of SVO accumulation in diesel start/purge tank is minimal, and but we recommend redilution of diesel fuel by adding more diesel when diesel tank reaches halfway.
If using a very small diesel start/purge tank, and/or purging often, and/or in quite cold climates, you may wish to consider using two of our 3-port solenoid valves, and one of our control devices (SVO Control, NADA) instead, to prevent any amount of SVO entering the diesel tank. Note however, that those options are considerably more expensive and complicated to install. Customers have had excellent results with just this 6-port motor drive valve, and it represents excellent value for the money, doing the job of two 3-port valves.
Includes: 6 port motor drive fuel selector valve with toggle switch, mounting bolts, wiring plug, and "Forgot-to-Purge" buzzer.
THIS CANNOT BE USED WITH CONTROLLER if you want to have a delay-purge. Use two electric 3-port solenoid valves instead.
Electric 12V Solenoid 3-Port Fuel Selector:
Works for all cars, pickups, etc. Genuine Hydraforce valves with Viton seals. Big trucks (tractor-trailers) might need special order larger valves - contact us for pricing for trucks of 8L or larger displacement. Can be used with VOControl and NADA controller systems we also sell.
Specifications: 3 port (3/2 way), normally closed. Ports: Threaded for -8 ORB fittings, valves ship with ORB to 3/8" hose bar fittings which are clockable - that is, they can be rotated 360 degrees for optimum hose routiing. Attachment: Use machine bolts through mounting slots into something rigid. Mounting position: can be mounted in any position. Compatibility: diesel, new SVO, WVO, biodiesel, blends. Wiring - provided with two male spade terminals. Body: Aluminum. With slight re-drilling, can be mounted to a VegMax fitler, and with spacer plates, multiple valves can be mounted this way. Advantage: Neat, compact mounting, valves warmed by the coolant in the base of the VegMax.
