Patriensah, Ghana
Soon, Greenstar will have a new site in Patriensah, Ghana. Paul Swider
has just arrived in Accra.
Greenstar is set to install some solar power in a community center, to
hold a Greenstar festival with music, art recordings and video, and (with
some luck) to test an Iridium phone with a satellite voice and data connection.
Most important: a lot of close interaction with the people of the town,
and understanding of what Greenstar can do to help build their future.
Within two or three weeks, we'll have preliminary cuts of music, stories,
photo images by people in the village, artwork and video, which we'll
share with you as soon as they're ready.
We have assembled some of the photos Paul took last summer on his first
trip to Patriensah; there are three panorama animations taken around the
town that really give you the feeling you're there.

They're about 600K each; QuickTime required to view these animated panoramas.
