EAA consultants prepares and evaluates projects or to provide technical expertise in Africa. This is ordinarily expensive for small projects, but is often essential for large projects. The company mission is to build renewable energy infrastructure, and we are active in Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, Mozambique, Somalia, Ethiopia and Eritrea now. EAA rates range from $50 per day (for skilled PV technicians) to $250 per day per EAA project officers to $550 per day for senior "international" experts like Mark Hankins. The 8 permanent staff are busy in project development, larger project work, CDM, policy, etc. RET use is growing rapidly all over Africa. Mark wrote a wonderful book we carry called Solar Electric Systems for Africa. Steve has worked with Mark on projects for many years and we recommend him highly!
