ECHO
(Educational Concerns for Hunger Organization) is a Christian nonprofit
organization supporting development workers and missionaries working in
agricultural development overseas. They give support by sharing ideas,
information, and trial packets of seed for "underutilized" crops
and are actively involved in networking for global hunger solutions.
For 20 years they've helped provide seeds, information, and ideas to
people in over 160 countries. They have an impressive list of resources
for tropical agriculture and gladly offer their services to anyone actively
involved in the fight against world hunger. ECHO interns have the option
of spending several months in Haiti.
