The standard Blumat pressure reducers work great for most systems. But for larger systems that need a higher flow rate, this becomes a better choice. This also works better when there's a long distance between the pressure reducer and your plants.

A TRUE REDUCER - Not just a flow controller that only works with high flows, these reduce pressure in Blumat systems with extremely low flow rates
EASY TO INSTALL - Uses standard 3/4"" hose thread for both input and ouput sides
HIGH QUALITY - Built to last from ABS plastic and designed for longest life

Blumat systems need constant low pressure — much less than municipal home and farm pressure. These reducers insure a constant pressure.

Often, people call flow restrictors "pressure reducers" and they can reduce pressure — but only if the system has a high flow. These true pressure reducers take input an pressure up to 87 psi and drop it down to 15 psi (1 bar) output. Ideally suited for Blumat and other drip irrigation systems, lowering the pressure also prevents tubing connections from coming apart and creating a flood.

In gravity systems, you don't need a reducer unless you have a storage tank high up a hill, 35' or more vertical. Horizontal distance doesn't make much difference."

3/4" Female Hose Thread input, 3/4" Male Hose Thread output,
Max pressure in 87 psi, output pressure limited at 15 psi max
